Located opposite the Taipei Railway Station, the 244.15-meter-high
shinkong tower is Taipei's tallest building and a prominent city landmark.
A high speed elevator brings visitors from the basement to the observatory
on the 46th floor in only 30 seconds. The glass-walled observatory area
gives visitors a bird's eye view of the whole Taipei Basin.
